Today, our school was filled with joy and enthusiasm as we celebrated the festival of Janmashtami. The event commenced with a warm welcome to our esteemed principal, chairperson sir, and vice principal mam. Their presence added a special charm to the occasion.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the arrival of knowledge. Following this, several talented students performed melodious songs dedicated to Lord Krishna, captivating the audience with their beautiful voices. The Montessori department then took the stage, showcasing vibrant performances that brought the spirit of the festival to life through dance and song.
The primary department students impressed everyone with an enactment depicting significant events from Krishna ji’s life, allowing us to witness the essence of his teachings and adventures. The middle department followed with an energetic dance performance that had everyone clapping along. Finally, the senior department students engaged the audience with a roleplay that highlighted the teachings from the Bhagavad Gita, sharing valuable insights and lessons.
To conclude the event, our chairperson sir and principal mam addressed the gathering, sharing their thoughts on the significance of Janmashtami and the importance of embracing the values taught by Lord Krishna. The celebration was a wonderful blend of culture, devotion, and creativity, leaving everyone with a sense of joy and inspiration.
